Who We Are
TMPSF is formed for people within and outside Kerala who have a height of 6 feet or more. The minimum requirement to become a member is a height of at least 6 ft. (183 cm).
TMPSF is known as the first organisation in the world made up for bringing togetherness among tall people around the world. The force is the prestigious wing of the association, headed by Mr. Thumbur Shibu, who stands 6 ft. 10 in. tall.
Today we have members from all districts of Kerala, and anyone who possesses a height of 6 ft. can take a membership and abide by the rules and regulations set by the bye-law.
The Executive Force
There are about 300 cadets able to work as TMPSF members. They come from many walks of life — part-time and full-time workers, students, and people already working in the force — with a monthly salary range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 50,000.
All cadets are 6 ft. or more in height, physically fit, and turned out in full uniform including coats.
Members of TMPSF work only on TMPSF activities. Every cadet is held to the association's detailed bye-law and behaviour standards.
Our Work
We carry out a range of V.I.P. services. We provided crowd control and celebrity protection for Sri Mohanlal at the new MyG showroom in Kozhikode, where the organisers described our association as the key point of perfection and clarity in the work, and said they had never seen a security force with this standard.
At the birthday celebrations of Mata Amritanandamayi in Amritapuri, Kollam, we managed the crowd and handled valet parking in a set pattern. The organisers were impressed that we parked 2,000 vehicles in a 1,000-car parking area, arranged so that any vehicle could be moved out without honking others out of the way.
